Mission Statement
As a network of Southern Baptist churches, Williamson Baptist Association exists to equip, encourage, and unite local congregations in fulfilling the Great Commission through cooperation, service, and community impact in Jesus’ name.
Disaster Relief: Serving in Times of Crisis
At Williamson Baptist Association, our mission to equip, encourage, and unite local churches doesn’t stop at the sanctuary doors. As part of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Disaster Relief efforts in Illinois, WBA partners with trained teams who respond swiftly and compassionately when disaster strikes — whether it’s a tornado, flood, or other crisis affecting our communities.
Through cooperative ministry and boots-on-the-ground service, our churches work together to bring practical help and spiritual hope to those facing loss and uncertainty. From clearing debris to feeding families and offering prayer, we see disaster relief as an opportunity to live out the Gospel and embody Christ’s love when it matters most.
If you’re looking for a way to serve or want your church to get involved in disaster relief ministry, reach out — we’d love to connect you with the training and opportunities available through WBA and the SBC Disaster Relief network.
